Summer Camp FAQs
1. What ages and skill levels are the camps for?
We welcome players aged 4 to 17, from absolute beginners taking their first swings to elite performance juniors. Our coaches use LTA-style colour stages (Blue to Yellow) to ensure every child plays at their appropriate level with peers.
2. What qualifications do the coaches have?
All coaches at our academy are experienced, LTA-qualified (or equivalent), and DBS-checked. They are skilled specialists used to working with children across all ages and levels, ensuring a safe, supportive, and professional environment.
3. What should my child bring to the academy?
Players should bring their own racket (let us know if you need to borrow one), plenty of water, and a packed snack. Dress in comfortable sports clothing, non-marking trainers, and don't forget the sunscreen!
4. What happens if it rains during a camp?
In true London style, we try to keep playing through light drizzle. However, in heavy rain, we pause for safety. We offer credits for future camp days if a session is fully rained out.
5. Can parents stay and watch, and how do you handle safety and supervision?
Parents are welcome to watch from designated areas. Your child's safety is our priority; all coaches are LTA qualified and DBS checked. We maintain strict staff-to-child ratios.
